Nonproductive cough. |

<3yrs: not recommended. 3–6yrs: 1.25–2.5mL. 6–12yrs: 2.5–5mL. Both: 4 times daily as needed. |

5–7.5mL 4 times daily as needed. |
| Contraindications |
|
DH: increased intracranial pressure, respiratory impairment. DM: Within 14 days of MAOIs. |

|
DH: Head injury, acute abdomen. Elderly. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended. |
| Interactions |
|
See Contraindications. Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Potentiates CNS depression with alcohol, other CNS depressants. |
