Nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, cough. |
| Children |
|
<6yrs: not recommended. 6–11yrs: 5mL. Repeat every 4 hours as needed. Max 6 doses/24hrs. |
| Contraindications |
|
Within 14 days of MAOIs. |
| Precautions |
|
Cardiovascular disease. Hypertension. Glaucoma. Diabetes. Thyroid disease. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders. |
| Interactions |
|
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Concomitant diphenhydramine products (including topicals): not recommended. β-blockers may increase pressor response of sympathomimetics. Alcohol, other CNS depressants potentiated. Antagonizes antihypertensives. |
