| Contraindications |
|
Glaucoma. Increased intracranial pressure. Head injury. Respiratory impairment. Labor & delivery. Nursing mothers. |
| Precautions |
|
Drug abusers. Elderly. Debilitated. GI or urinary obstruction. Acute abdomen. Hepatic or renal dysfunction. Hypothyroidism. Pregnancy (Cat.C). |
| Interactions |
|
Potentiates alcohol, CNS depressants. Increased toxicity of MAOIs, tricyclics. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Respiratory depression, abuse potential, drowsiness, hypertension, orthostatic hypotension, palpitations, anticholinergic effects, sedation, anxiety, nausea, rash, pruritus. |
