Indications
Nasal congestion.
Children
Use dosing device provided. <2yrs: do not use. 2–5yrs: 1.6mL. Repeat every 4 hours as needed.
Contraindications
Children <2yrs old. Within 14 days of MAOIs.
Precautions
Cardiovascular disease. Hypertension. Thyroid disease. Diabetes. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders.
Interactions
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers may increase the pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Antihypertensives antagonized.
Adverse Reactions
Nervousness, dizziness, insomnia.
