Nasal congestion, allergy symptoms, cough. |

<2yrs: do not use. 2–5yrs: individualize. 6–11yrs: 10mL. Repeat every 4 hours as needed. |

20mL every 4 hours. |
| Contraindications |
|
Children <2yrs old. Within 14 days of MAOIs. |
| Precautions |
|
Cardiovascular disease. Hypertension. Thyroid disease. Diabetes. GI or GU obstruction. Glaucoma. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders. |
| Interactions |
|
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers may increase the pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Alcohol, other CNS depressants potentiated. Antihypertensives antagonized. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Drowsiness, anticholinergic effects, nervousness, dizziness, insomnia, excitability in children. |
