|
Aspirin allergy. During or within 14 days of MAOIs. |
| Precautions |
|
Dehydration. Hypertension. Diabetes. Glaucoma. GI, cardiac, thyroid, renal, or hepatic disease. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers. |
| Interactions |
|
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers may increase the pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Guanethidine, other antihypertensives antagonized. May potentiate anticoagulants, CNS stimulants. Increases serum lithium levels. Avoid aspirin, other pain relievers. Increased risk of GI bleed with alcohol. |
