Increased intracranial pressure. Head injury. Respiratory impairment. Pulmonary, renal or hepatic dysfunction. Very young. Seizures. Fever. Acute abdomen. Hypothyroidism. Addison's disease. Ulcerative colitis. GI or urinary obstruction. Children with atopy. Acute alcoholism. Drug abusers. Elderly. Debilitated. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Labor and delivery, nursing mothers: not recommended. |

Respiratory depression, sedation, drowsiness, dizziness, dysphoria, constipation, GI disturbances, hypertension, orthostatic hypotension, palpitations, urinary retention, blurred vision, anxiety. |
