|
Severe hypertension or coronary artery disease. During or within 14 days of MAOIs. Narrow-angle glaucoma. Urinary retention. Peptic ulcer. Acute asthma. |

Hypertension. Diabetes. Ischemic heart or cardiovascular disease. Hyperthyroidism. Increased intraocular pressure. GU or GI obstruction. Hepatic or renal impairment. Autonomic neuropathy. Ulcerative colitis. Young children. Elderly. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended. |

See Contraindications. Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Concomitant sildenafil: not recommended. β-blockers may increase the pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Potentiates alcohol, other CNS depressants. Antagonizes guanethidine, other antihypertensives. Antagonized by tricyclic antidepressants. Arrhythmias with digoxin. Additive anticholinergic effects with other anticholinergics. Antacids may interfere with methscopolamine absorption. |

Drowsiness, lassitude, nausea, giddiness, anticholinergic effects, palpitations, flushing, irritability, headache, dizziness, hypotension, respiratory difficulty, excitability (esp. in children). |
