Rhinorrhea, nasal congestion, cough. |

|
<6months: not recommended. 6–12months: 0.5mL. 12–24months: 0.75mL. 24–36months: 1mL. All: 4 doses/day. |
| Contraindications |
|
During or within 14 days of MAOIs. Severe hypertension or coronary artery disease. Ischemic heart disease. Asthma. Narrow-angle glaucoma. Urinary retention. Peptic ulcer. Newborn or premature infants. Nursing mothers. |
| Precautions |
|
Hypertenson. Diabetes. Thyroid disease. History of bronchospasm. Lower respiratory disorders. Renal impairment. GI or GU obstruction. Elderly. Debilitated. Atopic children. Pregnancy (Cat.C). |
| Interactions |
|
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers may increase the pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Alcohol, other CNS depressants potentiated. Guanethidine, other antihypertensives antagonized. Dextromethorphan: additive effects with narcotic antitussives. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Drowsiness, anticholinergic effects, nervousness, dizziness, insomnia, thickening of bronchial secretions, excitability in children. |
