Indications
Mild to moderate pain.
Children
Not recommended.
Adults
1 tab every 4 hrs as needed; max 6/day.
Contraindications
Suicidal or addiction-prone patients.
Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment. Elderly. Debilitated. Labor & delivery. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
Interactions
Potentiation with alcohol, CNS depressants. May increase levels of antidepressants, anticonvulsants, coumarin anticoagulants, others. Coma, severe neurological effects seen with carbamazepine.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, sedation, nausea, vomiting, constipation, rash; respiratory depression, hepatotoxicity (overdosage).
