Indications
Mild to moderate pain.
Children
Not recommended.
Adults
1 tab every 4 hours as needed.
Contraindications
Suicidal or addiction-prone patients.
Precautions
Renal or hepatic dysfunction (reduce dose). Elderly. Debilitated. Labor & delivery. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
Interactions
Potentiates CNS depression with alcohol, CNS depressants. May increase levels of antidepressants, anticonvulsants, warfarin, others. Coma, severe neurological effects with carbamazepine.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, sedation, GI upset, constipation, rash, weakness, euphoria, dysphoria, hallucinations, visual disturbances; respiratory depression, hepatotoxicity (overdosage).
