| Contraindications |
|
History of toxic shock syndrome. Known or suspected uterine or cervical malignancy. Vaginal or cervical infections. Do not use during menstrual, postpartum or postabortal periods. |
| Precautions |
|
Anatomical changes (eg, flat cervix). Do thorough gynecologic exam before placement and every 12 months thereafter. Recheck Pap smear after first 3 months' use. Leave in place for at least 8 hrs after intercourse; avoid continuous use for more than 48hrs. |

Avoid concomitant oil-based products. |
