Indications
Nutritional supplement in pregnancy, prenatal, and postnatal periods.
Children
Not applicable.
Adults
1 tab daily.
Contraindications
Wilson's disease. Hemochromatosis. Treatment of pernicious or other megaloblastic anemias.
Precautions
Folic acid may mask pernicious anemia. Assure adequate dietary calcium.
Interactions
Iron blocks tetracycline absorption. Antagonizes levodopa.
