Generic Name
L-methylfolate 2.8mg, pyridoxal 5'-phosphate 25mg, methylcobalamin 2mg; tabs; sugar-, lactose-, yeast- and gluten-free.
Indications
Adjunct in endothelial dysfunction, hyperhomocysteinemia, atherosclerotic vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency.
Children
Not recommended.
Adults
1–2 tabs daily.
Precautions
Folic acid may mask pernicious anemia (may be mitigated by B12 component).
Interactions
Antagonizes levodopa, phenytoin.
Adverse Reactions
Paresthesia, somnolence, GI upset, headache, polycythemia vera, itching, transitory exanthema, swelling.
