During or within 14 days of MAOIs. Arteriosclerosis. Cardiovascular disease. Hypertension. Hyperthyroidism. Glaucoma. Agitation. Drug or alcohol abuse. |
| Precautions |
|
Discontinue if tolerance to anorectic effect occurs. Diabetes. Avoid hazardous activities. Prescribe limited supply to avoid overdose. Pregnancy. |
| Interactions |
|
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Decreases hypotensive effect of adrenergic blockers. Avoid alcohol. Possible risk of valvular heart disease with fenfluramine. |

Abuse potential, hypertension, arrhythmias, CNS overstimulation and other effects, dry mouth, GI disturbances, psychosis, urticaria, impotence. |
