| Indications |
|
To reduce signs/symptoms and slow progression of structural damage in moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis that failed DMARD(s), as monotherapy or with DMARDs other than TNF blockers. |

<18yrs: not recommended. |
| Adults |
|
≥18yrs: 100mg SC once daily. |
| Contraindications |
|
Serious or active infections. Concurrent live vaccines. |
| Precautions |
|
Predisposition to infections. Discontinue if serious infection develops. Chronic infections (eg, tuberculosis). Asthma. Immunosuppression. Malignancies. May get suboptimal response to vaccines. Renal or hepatic impairment. Monitor neutrophil count at baseline, monthly for first 3 months, then every 3 months for up to 1 year. Elderly. Pregnancy (Cat.B). Nursing mothers. |

Avoid TNF blockers (increased risk of neutropenia/infections). |

|
Inj site reactions, headache, GI upset, sinusitis, flu-like symptoms, infections (including serious), neutropenia. |
