Indications
Diarrhea.
Children
Not recommended.
Adults
Take caplets with water. 2 caplets or 30mL every 30–60 minutes if needed. Max 8 doses/day.
Contraindications
Varicella or influenza in children and teenagers.
Precautions
Ulcer. Coagulation disorders. Diabetes. Reye's syndrome. Liq: sodium-restricted diet. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
Interactions
Potentiates oral anticoagulants, hypoglycemics. Antagonizes uricosurics. Salicylism with aspirin. Reduces tetracycline absorption.
Adverse Reactions
Darkened tongue and/or stool.
