|
Susceptible infections of the conjunctiva. |
| Adults and Children |
|
<1yr: not recommended. ≥1yr: 1 drop every 2 hours while awake for 2 days (up to 8 times daily), then 1 drop 4 times daily while awake for 5 more days. |
| Precautions |
|
Discontinue if superinfection or hypersensitivity occurs. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers. |
| Interactions |
|
May potentiate theophylline, caffeine, oral anticoagulants, cyclosporine if systemic absorption occurs. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Irritation, lacrimation, keratitis, papillary conjuctivitis, chemosis, conjunctival hemorrhage, dry or red eye, headache, blurred vision, taste disturbances, superinfection, anaphylaxis. |
