Ocular inflammation. |
| Adults and Children |
|
<2 years: not recommended. ≥2 years: 1 drop 2–4 times daily. Reevaluate after 2 weeks. |
| Contraindications |
|
Fungal, mycobacterial, viral (except herpes zoster), or untreated bacterial infections. |
| Precautions |
|
Corneal or scleral thinning. Glaucoma. Monitor for secondary infections and intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Avoid abrupt cessation. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
May mask or exacerbate infections or retard wound healing. Increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, corneal ulcerations, optic nerve damage. |
