Indications
Ocular inflammation.
Adults and Children
<2 years: not recommended. ≥2 years: 1 drop 2–4 times daily. Reevaluate after 2 weeks.
Contraindications
Fungal, mycobacterial, viral (except herpes zoster), or untreated bacterial infections.
Precautions
Corneal or scleral thinning. Glaucoma. Monitor for secondary infections and intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Avoid abrupt cessation. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended.
Adverse Reactions
May mask or exacerbate infections or retard wound healing. Increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, corneal ulcerations, optic nerve damage.
