Ocular inflammation associated with bacterial infection. |

| Adults |
|
1 drop 4 times daily; reevaluate if no improvement after 2 days. Max 20mL for initial Rx. |
| Contraindications |
|
Epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, other viral infections including vaccinia and varicella. Mycobacterial or fungal infections. |
| Precautions |
|
Corneal or scleral thinning. Glaucoma. Monitor for secondary infections and intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Purulent exudates may inactivate sulfas. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended. |

|
Incompatible with silver containing compounds. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Severe sulfonamide sensitivity reactions may occur rarely. Local irritation, increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, corneal perforations, optic nerve damage, secondary infections. May mask signs of infection or retard wound healing. |
