| Indications |
|
Superficial infections of the external auditory canal. Itching in the auditory canal. |
| Adults and Children |
|
Clean ear. Infants and small children: 3 drops in ear(s). Adults: 4–5 drops in ear(s). Both: 3–4 times daily. Use saturated cotton wick for 1st 24hrs. May use 3 times daily in unaffected ear to prevent infection. |
| Contraindications |
|
Perforated eardrum. Viral ear infections. Tympanostomy tubes. |
| Precautions |
|
Discontinue if irritation or sensitization occurs. Pregnancy (Cat.C): not recommended. Nursing mothers. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Local irritation, superinfection, allergic contact dermatitis. |
