| Indications |
|
To detect possible leakage of amniotic fluid when vaginal wetness is experienced during pregnancy. |

|
Follow test instructions exactly. Results after 30mins drying time (positive = indicator strip stains blue-green; negative = indicator strip remains or turns yellow). Do not wear for >12hrs; remove and replace with new testing panty liner if vaginal wetness still present after 12hrs. |
| Precautions |
|
Not for use in women who have: vaginal bleeding/spotting, used vaginal products in the past 12hrs, had sexual intercourse within the last 12hrs. Do not use while sweating (eg, during or immediately after exercise). Consider evaluating for vaginal infections (eg, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis) if test shows false positive. Confirm that patient is not practicing diets that may alter vaginal pH. |

Vaginal products (eg, douches, creams, gels) used within 12hrs, antibiotics, diets that alter vaginal pH may interfere with test. |
