Generic Name
Pyrethrins 0.3%, piperonyl butoxide 3%; shampoo.
Indications
Head, body and pubic lice.
Adults and Children
Apply to area until thoroughly wet, wait 10 minutes, lather with water, rinse thoroughly. Use fine-toothed comb on hair to remove nits. For pubic lice, treat consorts also. Must repeat in 7–10 days. Wash or dryclean bedding and clothing appropriately.
Contraindications
Ragweed allergy.
Precautions
Avoid eyes, mucous membranes.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation.
