Sleep apnea. Pregnancy (Cat.X). |
| Precautions |
|
Drug or alcohol abuse. Avoid prolonged use. Withdraw gradually. Suicidal tendencies. Depression. Pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease. Elderly. Debilitated. Nursing mothers: not recommended. |
| Interactions |
|
Potentiates CNS depression with alcohol, other CNS depressants. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
CNS depression, complex sleep-related behaviors (eg, sleep-driving), ataxia, headache, dry mouth, GI upset, paradoxical excitement; anaphylaxis, angioedema. |
