Hypertension due to toxemia of pregnancy. |
| Precautions |
|
Severe coronary insufficiency. Recent MI. Cerebrovascular disease. Chronic renal or hepatic failure. Avoid abrupt cessation. Pregnancy (Cat.B). Nursing mothers. |
| Interactions |
|
Additive sedation with alcohol, other CNS depressants. Caution with microsomal enzyme inducing drugs (e.g., barbiturates, phenytoin) in renal impairment. |
| Adverse Reactions |
|
Dry mouth, somnolence, dizziness, headache, impotence, asthenia, constipation, fatigue. |
