|
Prophylaxis and treatment (in patients that do not respond to sublingual nitroglycerin) of angina. |

| Adults |
|
2.5–5mg sublingually 15 minutes before activity; allow a daily dose-free interval of at least 14 hours. |
| Contraindications |
|
Concomitant sildenafil. |
| Precautions |
|
Recent MI. Hypotension. Volume depletion. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Monitor standing blood pressure when increasing doses. Tolerance may develop. Avoid abrupt cessation. Elderly. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers. |
| Interactions |
|
See Contraindications. Severe hypotension with sildenafil. Hypotension potentiated with alcohol, other vasodilators, calcium channel blockers. |

Headache, flushing, dizziness, weakness, orthostatic hypotension, paradoxical bradycardia, rash. |
